Terms of use
The ground rules for using SimuCrew, from the free Read-through to Main Stage.
Who we are
SimuCrew is operated by SimuCrew. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SimuCrew. You can reach us at hello@simucrew.com.
Changes
Features may change as we build, and we’ll update these terms when they do. By using SimuCrew you agree to the version of these terms shown on this page.
The service
We write simulated audience reactions to content you submit: a line of copy, an image, a link, or a short video. We describe images and, on Main Stage, still frames from videos up to 60 seconds with an AI model, and on plans that include links we read the public page at your link. Threads, summaries and comparisons are written by AI language models. If a model is unavailable, the app may show a clearly labelled sample thread instead, and that rehearsal doesn’t count toward your plan. Examples on our public pages are sample rehearsals.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit. You’re responsible for having the right to submit it, and for leaving out confidential, personal or regulated information you don’t want processed by a model provider.
Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email, or with Google. Keep access to that inbox (and your Google account) secure. One account is for one person. On Main Stage, the owner can invite up to two other people; the owner is responsible for the team, its use of the plan, and removing people who should no longer have access. Team members share the owner’s rehearsals and monthly allowance.
AI-written output
Personas are fictional and their reactions are simulated. Summaries, comparisons and suggestions are AI-written readings of the thread, offered to inform your judgment, not as professional, legal or market-research advice. Decisions you make with them are yours.
Fair use
Rehearsals require a signed-in account and are rate-limited. Each plan includes a set number of rehearsals, room sizes and input types, shown on the Plans page; Main Stage’s 600 a month are subject to fair use. The free Read-through is one per person; we may limit free use from the same network. We may suspend access that abuses the service or tries to get around these limits.
Pricing
Read-through is free and includes three rehearsals. Rehearsal Room costs US$14.99 a month or US$149.90 a year; Main Stage costs US$49.99 a month or US$499.90 a year. Extra rehearsals are sold in packs: 50 for US$5 on Rehearsal Room, 200 for US$10 on Main Stage. Prices are in US dollars; taxes may apply where required.
Billing and cancelling
Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel, switch plans or update your card at any time from Manage billing; a cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and isn’t refunded for the unused part unless the law requires it. Switching plans is prorated. Extra rehearsal packs apply to the calendar month you buy them in and don’t carry over. If a payment fails we’ll let you know, and the plan may end if it isn’t settled. We’ll tell you before any price change takes effect, and we never charge you without your agreement.
